Physiotherapy in a mother and baby mental health unit


Miranda McLean and IOPTMH invite you to join the online session "Physiotherapy in a mother and baby mental health unit: physiotherapy, post-natal depression and the mother-baby relationship".


Miranda McLean is a Physiotherapist working in the Lavender Mother-Baby Inpatient Mental Health Unit at Gold Coast University Hospital since its opening in 2017. Miranda has extensive experience in Women's Health and is the first Physiotherapist to be employed within an inpatient Mental Health Mother-Baby Unit. She is involved with the APA Mental Health Group and Queensland Mental Health Group. Miranda is involved in research with the multidisciplinary team within the Mother-Baby Unit and aims to further research Physiotherapy based interventions within the inpatient setting.
