Elections for the Executive Committee of the IOPTMH

Do you want to shape the future of the international community of mental health physiotherapy?
The International Organization of Physical Therapists in Mental Health (IOPTMH) is calling for nominations for its Executive Committee (EC). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and direction of our global organization, which is dedicated to advancing mental health in physical therapy through institutional partnerships, education, clinical practice and research.
We invite all eligible members to consider nominating themselves or a colleague for the Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee plays a vital role in shaping the strategy, policies, and initiatives of IOPTMH. Serving on the EC offers the chance to lead international projects, represent the profession globally, and work closely with dedicated colleagues from around the world.
IOPTMH currently has 35 member organizations from across the globe. This diverse international representation allows members to engage with a wide range of regional perspectives, fostering collaboration and advancing the profession worldwide.
Nomination Process:
All nominees must be individual members affiliated with an IOPTMH member organization.
Nominations must include the candidate’s CV and a letter of motivation.
Each nomination should be supported by a member organization with a support letter.
The deadline for submission is 18 July 2025.
All nominations should be submitted via email to lene.nyboe@psykiatrien.rm.dk with copy sent to info@ioptmh.org Once nominations are reviewed and validated, voting will take place using an electronic voting system provided and managed by World Physiotherapy.
We strongly encourage members from diverse backgrounds and regions to apply. Your leadership and voice are vital in continuing to build a strong, inclusive, and forward-thinking organization.
